This Chapin 4 gallon 20V battery backpack sprayer powered by Black + Decker weighs 39% less than competitive sprayers (9.8 lbs versus 16 lbs). One charge on this Chapin Battery Powered BackPack Sprayer will spray up to 50 gallons (or up to 1.75 hours of continuous spraying) at a constant 35 PSI. The Chapin battery powered backpack sprayer will spray up to 35 feet! The Chapin 4 gallon 20V battery backpack sprayer is equipped with Viton seals and gaskets in key areas and features a Wide Mouth cap for easy filling. A built-in carrying handle makes cap removal easy and carrying the unit a breeze. The Chapin 63985 sprayer features a cushion grip shut-off, includes 3 nozzles and also has a deluxe padded straps with a Waist/Chest strap.

Editor’s Notes/Review: We ran into a forester using this Chapin battery powered backpack sprayer to spray Bark Mark Water Based Tree marking paint. The sprayer works surprisingly well for marking trees, spraying at a really good distance with good pressure. The nozzle adjusted from a fan to a more focused stream. The backpack portion of this sprayer was comfortable with the weight distributed evenly. It’s my opinion a thicker paint or an oil-based paint would not work well in this sprayer, however a Water-Based paint would do great and of course, herbicides, fungicides and pesticides spray very well from this sprayer. The lithium battery lasts a good long time and is rechargeable. Overall, I’d highly recommend this sprayer.
