Use Cogon Grass Flagging tape to mark aggressive and invasive Cogon grass areas. Marking Cogon Grass is extremely important for Foresters because Cogon grass interferes with controlled burns necessary to preserve healthy ecosystems. Cogon Grass burns about 20 degrees hotter than other grass and can kill pines and other trees. Additionally, Cogon grass can be transported through soil, giving us yet another good reason to mark this domineering grass.
