Hip Curve – The Curve between numbers 1 and 17 is often used to alter hip lines, princess lines, one-piece sleeves and hem lines.

French Curve – The Curve between numbers 13 and 26 is often used to alter or mark armholes and to adjust sleeve caps and necklines.
